Nourish Your Beauty Inside Out

Oil PullingWhat is oil pulling?

Are you thinking of oil rigs and other major equipment? Nope, I’m talking about another beauty trick. Yes, it’s hard to imagine what I’m talking about, isn’t it?

Oil pulling is a ancient Ayurvedic healing remedy that involves swishing oil around your mouth. Traditionally sesame or sunflower oil is used but some people prefer to use coconut or olive oil. The big question is why, isn’t it? Oil pulling is done for healing, detoxing your body, healing your skin, and overall rejuvenation.

Quite a few years ago I met this girl, Laura, and she just literally glowed, from the inside out. We became friends and I asked what her secret was because, frankly, she was a bit of a party girl and was a bit lax in her diet. She told me all about oil pulling and I couldn’t believe it. It sounded like it could literally cure anything and give you the skin you always dreamed of. Right away, I was off to buy a bottle of the best, cold-pressed organic sesame oil I could find.

How To Oil Pull

First you want to make sure your mouth is absolutely immaculate. Do this before you eat. Brush your teeth, scrape your tongue, rinse your mouth with warm water—the works!

Measure out a tablespoon of the oil of your choice, put it in your mouth, and close—but do not swallow!

Put your head back to ensure that the oil coats your entire mouth and back molars. Slowly sip and suck the oil through your teeth, back and forth, working it through all the 32 gaps through your teeth, back of your throat, sides of your mouth (ear to ear). You do this for about 20 minutes. Don’t gargle, even if you get really bored. Try watching TV, meditating, relaxing or reading while you move the oil around.

Then you spit it out. Don’t be alarmed when oil becomes white and watery.

Rinse out your mouth with water and brush your teeth again.

You also want to drink a few glasses of water, which you should be doing regularly anyway, right?

I religiously practiced this for about 6 months but, to be absolutely honest, I didn’t notice anything, I did not feel any better or see any difference in my skin so I gave it up. But just because we don’t see things for the outside, doesn’t always mean there isn’t something good going on in the inside. This just wasn’t for me, I am not particularly toxic as I lead a pretty health lifestyle :) So what are some of the more specific benefits of oil pulling?

Benefits of Oil Pulling

Oil pulling is supposed to help alleviate skin conditions like acne, eczema, hyperpigmentation, scars, rashes, etc. It is also supposed to help allergies, asthma, digestion, headaches, colds, bronchitis, gingivitis, gum disease, candida, whiten teeth, halitosis, constipation, diabetes, heart disease, blood pressure, obesity, remove toxins from your body, relieve joint pain, and female reproductive problems.

So, how does it do this? The belief is that oil pulling stimulates and supports the healing system of the body in curing all diseases.

Side Effects of Oil Pulling

If you do decide to try this and feel flu-like symptoms for the first week, this is normal as your body pulls out toxins.
It is believed that organ meridians are present in the tongue, just as they are in other key points in your body such as your hands, feet, and ears. That makes that the tongue is important for diagnosis of disease and that taking care of your tongue is an important part of both preventing and treating illness.

Now, before you start, make sure your fillings are not loose. It’s highly unlikely that you’ll lose one but if you already have loose fillings, it is a possibility.

Now, about acne. I know, didn’t I just say it’s suppose to help acne? But all that pulling out of toxins from your body can cause you to get more acne. Go figure. Usually it will clear up but sometimes it can aggravate acne problems further.

It can also aggravate your sinuses.

Overall give it a try, see if you notice any changes. Once thing for sure it is great for your gums and oral health! Post back and let everyone know how it works for your body.

Remedies for Rosacea

by Nicole on 6:19 pm

Natural Remedies for Rosacea

I have known a lot of people affected with rosacea. If you suffer from rosacea, I hope this post can help give you some much-needed relief.

First lets discuss what it is for those who haven’t come across it before. Rosacea is a common skin condition that causes redness to the face because the blood vessels become enlarged beneath the skin. How common? Over 12 million Americans are affected by it.

Other symptoms of rosacea include red bumps on your forehead, cheeks, nose, and/or chin; visible blood vessels on your nose or cheeks; and/or a tendency to flush or blush. Rosacea can also result in a red bulbous nose (doesn’t sound fun, does it?) or a burning sensation in your eyes. Now that we have that unpleasant list out of the way, lets talk about some natural remedies that you can use to combat rosacea.

First, some basics:
• Try to avoid over-exposure to the sun.
• Keep your stress levels low. Yes, I know it’s not easy.
• Put the alcohol down!
• Kibosh on the spicy foods
• Avoid cold weather, harsh face exfoliants or scrubs, saunas, really hot showers or water, chemical-laden make-up and corticosteriods since they can aggravate rosacea.
• Eat a lot of fruits, vegetables, healthy fats, and gluten-free products like buckwheat and quinoa. Of course, you’re already doing that, right?
• Avoid processed foods. Cut out the icky trans fats, high-fructose corn syrup, and sugar.
• Eat your dark leafy greens and whole grains. They have natural anti-inflammatories like vitamin B.
• Get your essential fatty acids, like flax and hemp oil, that are rich in omega-3 fatty acids.
• Incorporate meditation and yoga into your lifestyle. It’ll help with that low-stress thing, trust me.
• Make sure your pillowcase is washed regularly as that can also irritate your skin even more.

Rosacea can also be a byproduct of food allergies so it may be worth your while to go and get tested. After all, if you can avoid the problem by avoiding a certain food, it’ll make dealing with the rosacea that much easier. Common allergens like dairy, gluten, and peanuts can be triggers.

Second whether you make your own moisturizer or buy one, look out for these ingredients: vitamin B3; niacinamide (also great for anti-aging and hyperpigmentation, it will give you a glow); azelaic acid contrived from barely, wheat and rye (it will diminish the redness and take care of the bumps).

There are some other ways to calm and soothe the redness. You can apply lavender (try some oil on a cottonball and massage it in), feverfew (reduces inflammation), or camphor oil to the affected areas. The camphor especially is known to have soothing analgesic and antimicrobial effects. You can also try licorice gel twice a day on the area of the outbreak or tea tree oil for antiseptic and anit-inflammatory action.

Try putting green tea (which may help with the sun sensitivity) or chamomile tea bags on your face or, if you’re on the go, make a spritz out of the tea to spray on your face when needed. If you have a little time at home, rub oatmeal onto your face to soothe, cleanse, and moisturize. It will also help to reduce irritation, inflammation, and itchiness. If your face feels burny, try a chamomile cold compress. Just dip a cotton cloth into cold chamomile tea and hold it to the area. Definitely worth keeping some cold tea brewed and ready in the fridge.

Just so you know, all herbal remedies I’ve mentioned are meant to be taken topically. Unfortunately, some can even aggravate rosacea so start slow and do patch tests to see how your skin reacts. Be patient. If one of the natural remedies doesn’t work for you, try the next on the list. Nature has lots of ways to help us look and feel fabulous, we just have to find the one that’s right for our own body.

If in doubt, breastfeeding, pregnant, or taking prescription medications—talk to your naturopath, herbalist, or doctor to see which method will be best for you.

Natural Sunblock

Beautiful, glorious sun! Depending on where you live, you could be seeing it peeking out from behind the clouds for the first time in months. Expose a little skin and suck in that vitamin D, people! It helps keep you healthy and no pill can replace getting your vitamins the natural way.

That being said, do not, and I mean DO NOT, go out and get a sunburn. Yes, I know that you know about the dangers of skin cancer. But also consider that prolonged exposure to the sun can speed up the signs of aging. I know that sunbeam isn’t worth ten wrinkles. Here’s what you need to do:
•  Wear  natural sunblock (look for zinc oxide & titanium dioxide, which are milled from minerals)
• Reapply sunscreen after swimming or exercising outdoors
• Avoid lots of sun exposure between 10 a.m. & 3 p.m. when the sun is the hottest
•    Put on a wide-brimmed hat to protect your face
•    Wear UV-blocking sunglasses to protect your eyes from damage
•    Be especially careful if you’re using anti-aging products since many of them can make your skin more vulnerable to the sun’s rays, especially products that use Retinol. Up your sunscreen’s protection level just to be safe.

In addition to using sunblock, naturally protect skin from within by eating a good wholefood diet, with plenty of brightly colored vegetables and fruits, which are naturally protective. Drink plenty of pure water especially in the hot weather, to prevent the skin from getting dehydrated.

My Review of I Love Health

by Nicole on 6:37 pm

Let me tell you about a little store called “I Love Health” with a HUGE heart. This store is owned by the GORGEOUS Shar Laderman. I met Shar many years back when she worked at another health food store. The first time we met, we started to chat and we just hit it off right away. I always looked forward to going to that store and chatting with her. She left that store and moved to another to manage a health food department at an organic grocery store. I visited her there from time to time but we lost touch after she left.

Raw Vegan ChocolateMany years later, I was walking down Homer Street in Vancouver, BC when I see a sign that says “I Love Health”. You know me. My heart starts to beat faster—an undiscovered health food store, what fun! I literally ran up the stairs and walked in to behold a mecca of raw treats, vegan protein powder, and lots of local product love, with a very well thought out choice of supplements. Score!! This is where I get a lot of my raw treats (see picture), I don’t know what I would do without her.

I got a warm welcome when I entered the store and I started chatting with the girl behind the desk. Right away, the conversation flows. Instant connection and something seems very familiar about her. The closer I get to the till, the more I am racking my brain. Who is this wonderful like-mind women? I know she is thinking the same thing, too. We stare at each other and then we both say that the other person seems familiar. Then boom, it hits us. I was surprised that I didn’t recognize her earlier, as she has not aged a day!

Shar is my soul sister—we think a lot a like and have the same sense of humour. We may look like night and day but we are so much a like that the only things we can’t agree on are coconut aminos and buckwheat… ;)

I believe what truly makes a business is love, heart, and good people. This sums up Shar to a tee. She is an inspiration to women, true girl power. She goes out of her way for each and every customer that comes through her door. She maybe a smaller business compared to some of the bigger chains but not in heart. She will special order a product just for you and actually reorder it and stock it on the shelf, just for you.

She knows all her regular customers, obviously, and goes out of her way to order new products that she thinks you will like with no pressure to buy. But let me tell you, she is always right on the money. It’s that personal touch that you just don’t get with bigger businesses. This amazing woman supports so many local businesses, taking the risk and buying stock when many others would not.

You will be blown away by her knowledge and care. She’s also a registered Holistic Nutritionist!  I highly recommend a visit, whether to get some great advice or stock up on raw treats. One visit and you’ll huge heart Shar as much as I do.  Check out her website.

<3 you Shar!!

5 Active Herbs for Beautiful Skin

by Nicole on 6:12 pm

Best Herbs For Skin

I love playing with herbs in my quest for the best skin I can have. I am always on the lookout for herbs in any of the natural skincare products I might buy or make. It can be tough to know what herbs are what and how they benefit you. So let’s start with five but there are many more that are great for your beauty and health, inside out. Herbs have many beneficial effects on the skin, including microbial, antioxidant, anti- inflammatory, anti-aging, anti-carcinogenic, moisturizing, and collagen-stimulating. Your biggest challenge is deciding which herbs to use in your all natural beauty regime.

Following is our list of worker bee herbs. The therapeutic properties of these natural skin care remedies are busy protecting your skin from free radicals, UV radiation, and dehydration, while strengthening collagen and elastin structures. While you may expect to find these benefits in an expensive beauty cream concocted in a laboratory, these potent herbs can all be easily sourced at your grocery or health food store.

1. Chamomile

Most people know Chamomile as the herb that promotes beautiful skin but when asked, few know the secrets of this skin rejuvenating herb. Let’s start with the magic compound found in this golden flower, Alpha-bisabolol. Those supple petals in your spring garden contain healing, anti-infammatory and anti-irritant properties that are known to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. These same properties have made it a favored tonic for skin conditions such as eczema; it reduces inflammation while toning the skin. Chamomile is easily applied to the skin through a Chamomile tea rinse, or place Chamomile tea bags directly on the skin.

2. Witch Hazel

Witch hazel is an old Indian remedy which, unlike many other beneficial herbs, has made it to the pharmacy shelf. This means you have the option of brewing the leaves and bark from the North American witch hazel shrub and making your own tea or picking up a bottle at your local pharmacy. Witch hazel has been valued for centuries for its anti-inflammatory properties. This herb has several benefits in the treatment of acne. Its soothing properties reduce redness and inflammation while absorbing excess sebum, helping to prevent oily skin. If your skin is feeling saggy, this astringent will tighten the skin tissue and help you to retain taut, healthy looking skin, especially those baggy dark circles under the eye.

3. Lavender

Lavender is gaining popularity for its medicinal effects. A few snorts of lavender can ease a headache and clear the mind. But let’s not forget this fluorescent herbs beauty benefits. The worker bee compound in lavender is called linalool. It has healing properties that heal the skin and support cell rejuvenation, promoting tissue growth while helping to maintain the skin’s firmness. Lavender is truly a busy bee in skin care as it also contains anti-inflammatory, anti-toxic, anti-viral and anti-septic properties. For a truly immersive experience, take a lavender bath and let the body and mind soak in this essence’s relaxing effects.

4. Green Tea

Teatotalers awake! The tea in your teapot is a very powerful anticarcinogen when applied topically on your face. Acting like a sunscreen, its photoprotective properties prevent UV damage. The polyphenols in green tea have been a media darling in recent years. And it’s all good. These good compounds interfere with biochemical activities that can promote melanoma cells and tumors.

5. Calendula

If you want skin smooth soft skin, here is another golden herb to give a try. This garden herb has been shown to improve damaged skin and is a great moisturizing cream for rough spots like your feet and elbows. It is reasonable to assume that this golden herb may be just as effective in treating dermatitis on the face and other body parts. Its antimicrobial agents help to prevent and destroy bacteria and other pathogens that can lead to irritating skin
conditions.

Putting these busy bee herbs to work or your skin is as easy as visiting the local grocers. No adverse effects have been produced from the topical use of these skin rejuvenating herbs.

Exfoliate Your Skin

by Nicole on 6:59 pm

Exfoliate Skin

Exfoliation Elation

Time to banish that freeloading and pore-clogging dead skin from your face and other dainty areas. Some of the dullness that plagues your skin may be due to the dead skin cells you’ve been hauling around. Heck, if you’ve been neglecting this, you may lose a pound or two of (dead) flesh before you’re done. Here are a couple of ways to exfoliate with using harsh chemicals or scratch loofahs (which don’t belong on your face anyway):

• Time to crack out a classic exfoliator—oatmeal. Not that prepackaged stuff with maple sugar or cinnamon. Pull out the good stuff. It’s as easy as mixing fresh dry oatmeal with warm water and slathering it on. Pop open a book or magazine and catch a breather while the oatmeal mask dries.

• Mix one teaspoon of granulated sugar with half a teaspoon of honey and add a squeeze of lemon. Mix it together and exfoliate away. The honey is an antioxidant with antimicrobial properties while the lemon helps clarify your skin.  You can leave this on your skin too for about 20 minutes and rub off gently in a circular motion with warm water.

• Need a little more help with problem skin? Try apple cider vinegar and a little water. Dab it on and sit for five minutes before rinsing. Since the apple cider vinegar has alpha-hydroxy acids, it can help to balance your skin’s pH levels.

• Baking soda makes a gentle exfoliant for you face. Add a teaspoon to your favorite cleansers or just mix it with water to make a paste. Rub the paste onto your skin, leave it for 5 or 10 minutes, and then rinse and pat dry.

If you do have sensitive skin and you are trying something new on your face do a patch test first.

Body Energy Club Review

by Nicole on 8:02 pm

Body Energy Club Review

How can I describe the Body Energy Club? Well, yes, it is a health food store with a huge selection and awesome prices, so right away that is a plus for me. But it’s more than that. Body Energy Club is right below the gym I used to workout at everyday and, although I changed gym locations, I still stop by regularly. It’s definitely worth the trip.  Not in Vancouver, no problem they have a great online store with the best service.

I remember how excited I was when I saw the signs about a vitamin shop coming soon in that empty space. I’m pretty sure that I was one of their first 50 customers! This may surprise you (not!) but I’ve always been a bit of a health fanatic in one way or another. At that time I was really into protein powders, body for life, and glutamine.

When I first met both owners Dominick and Phil, I felt an instant connection with them. This is going to sound super cheesy but they are the type of guys you meet and instantly like. They are extremely smart and sincere but also very knowledgeable and never pushy!

Phil has the most amazing aura out of almost anyone I have ever met.  He radiates positive, healthy energy.  Nobody shares my passion for herbs like Phil does. I could chat with him for hours. Years ago, he had extreme pneumonia and I ran into him as he left the health clinic on his way to the hospital Emergency room. Although he was gasping for air, he still stopped to say hi and give me a hug.  He’s that type of guy.

Dominick is kind, funny, and fun to talk to. He’s very smart and always willing to share his knowledge. He has gone through quite an amazing transformation in the last few years, he always looked great but now has really disciplined himself and leaned WAY down!   These guys practice what they preach.

Later on I met Rick, also a great guy. He’s always happy and willing to help in any way he can. I worked with Rick to put up the Body Energy Club’s first online newsletter which turned into their website for a while (way back…). I even let him call me Nicky…a privilege not many have without a sharp glare!

All the staff there is amazing and truly helpful.

Body Energy Club is more that just a store, it has heart and it is a big part of the community. It’s hard to explain. Although their prices are probably the best in town, even if they raised them (umm please don’t) we’d all keep going back. Body Energy Club is the kind of small, neighborhood store that reminds us how vital it is to support independent shops and the truly inspired and brave people who run them.

So if you happen to pass by, stop on in and say hi (they have two locations now -Davie Street & City Square) or check out their online store.

How To Dry Brush Skin

It’s just common sense. Your skin can’t be radiant if it’s not getting the nutrients and blood it needs to replenish and repair. A lack of oxygen to your cells could be the reason that you’re tired and look worn out. Here are a few ways that you can get your (circulation) motor revving again:

•    Dry brushing—never heard of it? Just take a soft-bristled brush and dry brush your body just before your shower. It exfoliates and promotes circulation. Start at your feet, moving in clockwise motions, and brush upwards, using light pressure and long strokes.

•    Raid the spice cabinet for cayenne pepper. Slip a little extra kick into your sauces, soups, juices, and teas. If there’s a specific body part that needs a boost, mix ground cayenne pepper with water to make a paste. Then spread it on cheese cloth and wrap the body part. If it burns too much, use a little olive oil to take it down a notch.  (do a patch taste first)

•    Take a hot and cold shower, just alternate between hot and cold. Yes, it’s that easy! Cold water contracts the lymph vessels and hot water dilates them. It forces them to pump and increase the blood flow.

•    Here’s a fun one—get a massage. Contracted muscles can slow the blood down. Go and relax.

Juice Beauty

Juice Beauty… high efficacy yet authentically organic beauty solutions masterminded by a California team passionate about healthy lifestyles and whose organic products are backed by powerful science. It all started when Karen Behnke, serial wellness entrepreneur, who built one of the first corporate wellness companies in the country, developed a keen interest in personal care products upon becoming pregnant with her first child at the age of 40. She was astounded to learn that, although the skin absorbs over 60% of what is placed on it, there were very few available healthy personal care products that worked well. Karen subsequently bought the name “Juice Beauty” and launched the Company. Juice Beauty’s mission is to bring high efficacy, authentically organic, and pleasurable beauty solutions to people worldwide. Juice Beauty is proud to fulfill this mission with their clinically validated products supported by solid eco-values including the purchasing from certified organic farmers and manufacturing with California’s sun (solar power). Juice Beauty, with its unique antioxidant packed organic juice base, is featured in retailers throughout North America and Asia and was awarded its first patent for the unique Green Apple Peel formulation.  Follow them on Facebook and Twitter!

Free Spirit Botanicals

Free Spirit Botanicals is operated in beautiful Victora, BC by Joseph Gonyeau and Wendy Greer.  This is how they describe it:  We started out with soap making but as our knowledge of commercial skin care products grew, so did our product line. It seemed silly to use a natural soap, and then apply a petroleum or alcohol based cream on our skin after washing. Research has shown that chemicals found in skin care products get absorbed through the skin and over time build up in our internal organs. This can have a negative affect on the immune system. We feel that feeding the skin is a healthier choice.   Over the years of making our products we have expanded by meeting our own skin care needs and also by filling the requests of our customers. It is always exciting to hear stories of how people are seeing an improvement to their skin and health by choosing products that feed their skin rather than doing more damage to it.  You can order all their products online too!  Check them out on Facebook!

Sapphos Organics

Sapphos Organics is a line of cosmetics free of synthetic preservatives. With liquid foundations preserved entirely with essential oils and with a base of certified organic aloe juice and certified organic jojoba oil, our products are dimethicone, mineral oil, talc, gluten and phthalate free. Sappho Organics are both celebrity and makeup artist endorsed and are being used on runways and film and television sets globally.

With incredible coverage, applying ever so little foundation with our cruelty free foundation brushes, our base leaves the skin with a youthful, dewy finish. Highly pigmented eye shadows blushes and bronzers pressed with certified organic jojoba oil and certified organic argan oil are sold in their pans for placement in a compact made of recyclable paper and this is the prize for the winner!  Catering to our artistic community our philosophy is to provide our customers with the highest quality cosmetics, to lessen our footprint as we grow and to remain a positive presence in this world.  Check out their online store!

Sibu Beauty

Sibu Beauty the journey to create a successful company can be as arduous as scaling a Tibetan mountainside, but well worth the view from the top. Bruce McMullin founded Sibu in 2003 after series of events led him to Calcutta, India where he crossed paths with an ayurvedic specialist in Chinese plants and herbs. In passing, this expert mentioned a powerful holy fruit, the Sea Buckthorn berry.

From there McMullin’s quest took him to new heights, figuratively and literally, as he journeyed to some of the most remote locations of the Himalayas to find the superior source of Sea Buckthorn that is the foundation for all Sibu products.  Follow them on Facebook and Twitter!

I know that I mention this a lot but it’s true: beauty starts from the inside. Sure, beautiful personality counts but I’m referring to what you eat and how you treat your body.

Now that Spring is in the air, it’s time to kick the tires and see how your body made it through the winter. How’s that skin? How do you feel? The skin is the body’s largest organ so it’s important to treat it right. It’s time to focus on getting that beautiful glow without using damaging, chemical-filled products.

Start glowing from the inside out!

Detoxification
Check yourself into detox by cleaning out winter’s waste. What you’ve eaten, what you’ve slathered on your body, all of these things are reflected in your skin. The toxins on the inside have an impact on your skin. Detoxifying is rewarding, just be patient. Sometimes the things you do to help your skin can cause it to breakout or develop rashes in the short term. Bear with it and the problems will go away, leaving you glowing and healthy.

Here are a few ways to detoxify the natural way:
•    Get your fiber. Look for it in brown rice, cabbage, brussel sprouts, radishes, broccoli, dark leafy greens and peas are great places to start.
•    Make sure you’re getting your vitamin C. It helps your body create glutathione, which helps the liver flush away toxins.
•    Have an emotional detox and reduce stress by focusing on positive emotions.
•    Breath deeply. An increase in oxygen helps it circulate through your system.
•    Try waking up to a glass of hot water with lemon in it.
•    Move your body. Exercise and build up a sweat. Our bodies eliminate waste through the skin so getting a sweat going is good for your body in so many ways.
•    Consider a juice fast. For three days, just drink fruit and veggie juices so your body has time to flush out the toxins.
•    Drink lots of water and try to cut down on alcohol and caffeine. They’ll just slow you down and dull your skin.

Clean Eating
Again, I know I’ve said this before, and so has your mother, but you are what you eat. Ensure that your skin gets the nutrients it needs since every bite will show up on your face.
•    Try to buy produce directly from organic farmers. If that’s not possible, buy organic at the grocery store. The fewer toxins you put into your body, the less you’ll have to detox later.
•    Try to stick to a plant-based diet. You don’t have to go hardcore vegan, although that’s a good option, but you should try to cut down on the meat.
•    If you absolutely have to eat meat, choose antibiotic-free, free-range animals. Seeing the word “organic” isn’t enough. Be sure to read the packaging to see if the animal is humanely treated and pasture-raised.
•    Ugh, avoid fast food, people! Filling up with crap will make you feel like crap.
•    Cut down on processed foods and refined sugars. Better yet, try to eliminate them entirely. I know they’re convenient but the energy you’ll get from natural foods will make up for the convenience. Trust me.
•    Chow down on enzyme-rich foods. Also try to find those with probiotics.
•    Eat a variety of foods. Poor food choices leave you malnourished and could be the cause of dull and flaky or zitty skin. One way to ensure that you’re getting everything you need is to eat different colors from across the rainbow.
•    Most people don’t get enough omega-3 fatty acids so that could really be taking the glow out of your skin. Try to nibble on walnuts, hemps seeds, and chia seeds to get your fair share.
•    Look for wheat-, soy-, dairy-, and peanut-free products. Sometimes those common allergens are the culprits behind skin problems.

That should get you going in the right direction, stay tuned for part 2.
